How to Help

Volunteers

Volunteers are an important part of life in our home. Our volunteers are valuable assets providing companionship, variety and spontaneity for our Elders. Individuals, church groups, youth groups and community organizations are an integral part to our successful volunteer program.

We welcome volunteers of any age to join us. Our local schools have been very supportive. Local Girl & Boy Scouts volunteer their time fishing and gift wrapping with our Elders.   There are opportunities available for everyone.

 Memorial Fund

The Memorial Fund was established in response to the generosity of memorial gifts presented to our home. All memorial gifts are utilized to provide life-enriching opportunities that directly benefit our Elders and our Journey.

Gifts are used to further our Journey by building raised bed gardens, installing paved walkways for outdoor activity, providing care for our pets, and purchasing other items that go beyond the day-to-day necessities, all of which bring opportunities for our Elders to give care.
